Being able to approach situations with solutions that go beyond the either/or, all-or-nothing binary is critical. Cultivating a both/and mindset allows us to think more expansively and creatively about challenges which then become fruitful opportunities to affect change. Developed by researchers Emerson and Lewis, the Polarity Navigator framework and its language around the “transformational third way” can serve as a helpful resource for participants to utilize as they traverse the inevitable challenges ahead.
