How we gather and provide nourishment matters

Kashrut Policy

Jewish LearningWorks values gathering in a pluralistic setting, and seeks to provide a welcoming environment for guests. In recognition of this and of the nature of the Bay Area community, we will not serve meat of any kind at our events. We provide an opportunity upon event registration for participants to share specific dietary needs with us, will accommodate those we are able to, and work diligently to provide appropriate nourishment for all.

In cases where it is not feasible to meet specific food needs, we will communicate with participants in advance, and invite individuals to bring food from home. Individuals who require a strictly kosher meal will be provided with an individually wrapped option, whenever possible.
