Jaime Rapaport Barry comes from a family steeped in entrepreneurship, community work, and storytelling. Those passions inform much of her work, and there is little she relishes more than the opportunity to start with even the tiniest whisper of an idea—and collaborate with clients to transform that idea into a powerful, impactful reality. Jaime most recently served as the Chief of Staff & Brand Strategy at UpStart, where she oversaw organizational culture, employee development, and DEI, as well as UpStart’s brand and communications department. She was a key member of both the Leadership and Strategic Planning Teams, and was a frequent writer, editor, and speaker for the organization. Prior to UpStart, Jaime served as a Communications Specialist for a healthcare workers union, SEIU-UHW, and served on the team that tripled the size of the Progressive Jewish Alliance (now “Bend the Arc”), a political advocacy organization. Jaime also co-launched NewGround: A Muslim-Jewish Partnership for Change, a nationally renowned fellowship program introduced by the Los Angeles Mayor and featured on American Public Media. A trained mediator and facilitator across difference, Jaime brings a spirit of optimism and nuance to the complexity of strategic decision-making. She received training in mediation and negotiation from Harvard, navigating polarities through Andiron, and facilitating courageous political conversations with Resetting the Table. She currently serves as a coach with Resetting the Table, supporting a wide range of constituencies from Hollywood directors to faith leaders of multiple traditions. She earned her master’s degree in public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and studied art and design as an undergraduate.
