Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) Training is designed to teach educators who work with teens, school administrators, staff teams, and educational program lay leaders how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health issues, and/or substance use challenges among adolescents (ages 12–18).

Training begins with a 2-hour self-paced program that participants can do at their leisure. Participants need to complete this individual 2-hour training before joining the group program. The group training is 5 hours long, and takes place online on an agreed day and time. After completing the 7 hours of training, your staff will become certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid.
