Rising anti-semitism in the United States is cause to be both frightened and alarmed. With the help of the expertise of the ADL, we will frame our morning around these three questions:
How can we initiate conversations about anti-semitism to support students without unnecessarily frightening them or making them uncomfortable?
How can we proactively create a safe space for students to share their experiences?
How can we effectively advocate for our students when incidents do occur?
Workshop will be led by Vlad Khaykin, Associate Director of the ADL
Vlad Khaykin serves as the Associate Director of the Central Pacific Region of the Anti-Defamation League. Vlad holds postgraduate degrees in Near Eastern & Jewish Studies and Non-Profit Management from Brandeis University, where he was awarded the Genesis Fellowship, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
