Looking for our COVID-19 policy?
Jewish LearningWorks continues to prioritize the safety and well-being of our staff, consultants, strategic partners, patrons, families and communities regardless of the status of the Covid-19 pandemic. The statement below was updated last on March 9, 2023.
The imperative to preserve life — pikuach nefesh — is a core value of our tradition. As Jews and community members, we are obligated to do everything we reasonably can to ensure the health and safety of our staff and program participants. We encourage you to let us know if there is anything we can do to support your health during our events.
Respect — kavod — is also an essential Jewish value. Out of respect for others in our community, we ask that staff and participants refrain from attending in-person programs at Jewish LearningWorks if they are feeling unwell, and are not vaccinated against COVID-19. In March 2022, our events became mask optional. Our COVID-19 policy shifted over time, in accordance with CDC and California guidelines.
