A space for Jewish educators to explore sources of Jewish wisdom, inspiration, and meaning

We believe that when Jewish educators are able to nourish, and nurture their own spirituality, they in turn bring this wisdom and inspiration to their learners.

Jewish LearningWorks’ Beit Midrash with Orot is a 6-week online series designed to give Bay Area Jewish educators a space to explore sources of Jewish wisdom, inspiration, and meaning.

Making Jewish wisdom meaningful for our everyday lives, and our work as educators

Following our Soul FULL gathering with keynote speaker Dr. Lisa Miller, this program aims to give Bay Area Jewish educators a space to deepen their own sense of awakened attention, awakened connection, and awakened heart (the integration of which, from Dr. Miller’s book “The Awakened Brain,” is the definition of spirituality) utilizing Jewish wisdom as a framework.

Aimed at: Any and all Bay Area Jewish educators who wish to spend time engaging in nurturing their own spirituality through the exploration of Jewish wisdom and practice.

Structure: Series of 6 online sessions, 90 minutes each

Facilitated by: Rebecca Minkus-Lieberman, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Orot

We are excited to offer this space facilitated by Orot, whose mission is to make Jewish wisdom personally meaningful for our everyday lives; to open up Jewish wisdom to all who want to draw from its well; and to create transformative experiences grounded in Jewish learning and spiritual practices.
