A Time to Heal

At Jewish LearningWorks, we believe that learning and healing are intertwined; both acts of courage and hope, acts of care for the soul.

Today we feel changed by the first fragile steps toward healing as we witness the end of unbearable separation for some hostage families. May those returning, and those who welcome them home, find strength, tenderness, and the care of a community that holds them close. With each reunion, a thread of our collective soul is mended.

Our hearts also remain with the families that continue to grieve, and suffer the violent loss of life.

From our Bay Area homes, places of work, congregations, and every cherished space that keeps us safe, we join the global Jewish community in the yearning for wholeness, and for peace across the Middle East.
