Applying Circle of Security in Preschool Environments

Presenter

Stephanie Kaufman

This training explores how Circle of Security principles can strengthen preschool classroom dynamics by creating secure, supportive, and nurturing teacher-child relationships. Through a social-emotional learning (SEL) lens, educators will gain practical strategies to enhance attachment, build trust, and support children’s emotional development. This session lays the foundation for creating a responsive and connected classroom environment. For deeper reflection and application, there is a Part 2: Reflecting on Circle of Security in Preschool Environments.
