Small Group Leadership Coaching

The Association of Reform Jewish Educators (ARJE) and Jewish LearningWorks are proud to partner to offer small group coaching for congregational educators again this year.

Jewish LearningWorks and the Association of Reform Jewish Educators (ARJE) invite you to participate in their second cycle of virtual, small-group coaching sessions for:

  • Early-career congregational school directors.
  • Mid-career congregational school directors.

As those who have experienced it before will attest, coaching is a game changer for your professional practice. We hope you will join us!

Six Virtual, Monthly Sessions from December 2026 to May 2027

Building on the success of last year’s pilot initiative, and Jewish LearningWorks One-on-One Leadership Coaching, we are offering small virtual groups for early-career educators (2 – 7 years of experience) and mid-career educators (8 -15 years of experience).

Over the course of six, monthly sessions (December 2026 through May 2027) you will learn to reflect on your practice, identify strengths and recurring challenges, connect with colleagues to reduce isolation, and practice new behaviors.

The coaching sessions will include a combination of coach-directed conversation and peer coaching. You will also learn basic coaching skills that you can take home to your congregation.

  • Aimed at: Congregational education directors. Participants need not be in a Reform congregation.
  • Structure: Six 90-minute monthly sessions, and one intake with your coach.
  • Facilitated by: The coaching sessions will be facilitated by master coaches, and former congregational educators Michelle Lynn Sachs and Tamara Gropper.
