We will learn methods of exploring Pirkei Avot, Ethics of Our Ancestors that have contemporary meaning and purpose. We will re-purpose Talmud Study for Early Childhood Education, resulting in authentic and rich experiences for children and adults.

In this workshop we will focus our intention on how to create classrooms that speak to both Jewish values and developmentally appropriate practice.

At the end of this session your teachers will walk away with a better understanding of the meaning of differentiated instruction and how to use it in their own classrooms.

This training provides an overview of typical and atypical child development, terminology and phrasing for discussing development and developmental concerns with colleagues and families, and resources for monitoring children’s development for planning and potential referral purposes.

This training builds on educators’ existing knowledge of children’s senses and sensory processing, in order to support them in turning theory into practice.
