Source Sheets Library
Curated by seasoned Jewish educators and designed for today’s learners
Exploring Torah Study, Leadership, Values, and DEIB
Jewish learning is at its best when it sparks deep reflection, conversations with some tension, and enduring connections with Judaism. The Jewish LearningWorks Source Sheets Library is a growing repository or Jewish learning materials that do just this. It is also a collaborative process that spans years in the making, involving Jewish LearningWorks staff and respected educators from across our community.
Clergy, educators, and lay leaders will find meaningful Jewish learning resources, ideal to use with adult learners and adolescents. The library is organized into four collections: Torah Study Foundations, Leadership, Values, and DEIB. Together, they reflect educational expertise, and a commitment to accessible, relevant Jewish learning.
Torah Study Foundations Collection
Rooted in traditional and contemporary approaches to Jewish text study, this collection offers foundational tools for engaging deeply with Torah. These source sheets support learners in building skills, asking meaningful questions, and discovering how Jewish wisdom continues to shape our lives today.
Values Collection
Jewish values come alive through transmission, but also through translation. Centered on core ethical and spiritual teachings, this collection invites learners to wrestle with ideals and timeless questions about justice, dignity, responsibility, and human connection in today’s world.
Leadership Collection
Jewish leadership calls us to act with courage, humility, mutual responsibility, and vision. This collection explores enduring Jewish perspectives on leadership, community, decision-making, and service, offering rich opportunities for reflection and discussion in professional, volunteer, and communal settings.
DEIB Collection
Grounded in Jewish texts and lived experience, this collection explores themes of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through a Jewish lens. These source sheets encourage thoughtful dialogue, self-reflection, and community-building while helping learners navigate complexity with empathy and curiosity.
