Strategies and Lasting Impact of Wonder and Curiosity in Jewish Early Childhood Education
Judaism is inherently designed to spark curiosity and awe. This year, we have chosen to focus our professional learning for early childhood educators on myriad strategies for cultivating wonder, and curiosity through a Jewish lens.
We welcome you to join us at this workshop, or any others in our Jewish Foundations professional learning series for early childhood educators in the Bay Area.
- Topic: Bringing Jewish Stories to Life with Felt Boards.
- Overview: This workshop offers early childhood educators the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning with felt boards to think about how to spark curiosity and awe during the Jewish holidays.

- Format: In-person workshop. Includes a vegetarian lunch, and a tour visit to the preschool at our host site.
- Location: Temple Sinai (2808 Summit St, Oakland, CA 94609).
- Facilitated by: Jane Simon, Artist-in-residence at the East Bay JCC and Jewish Early Childhood consultant.
