The Library’s circulating collection features more than 38,000 books, eBooks, periodicals, CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks that span a huge range of Jewish topics and perspectives.

The Library is open for in-person browsing and borrowing three days a week. Summer hours are Sundays from 12 pm to 4 pm and Mondays and Thursdays from 11 am to 4 pm.

Proof of vaccination is required to enter the Library on Mondays and Thursdays.

The Library’s programs bring thousands of people together to learn and converse, and our extensive support services for book groups helps hundreds of Bay Area readers partake in meaningful exchange spurred by reading.
