• How complete is your toolkit as a teacher?

  • How well do you build lesson plans designed for learning?

  • How can you check for student understanding?

  • How might reflection time serve your own growth as a teacher?

We invite teachers in Jewish educational settings to join us to explore these questions and others. In this series we will:

  • Develop skills for effective lesson plan design and implementation.
  • Experiment with teaching tools that uncover the thinking process and support meaningful learning.
  • Reflect on teaching and learning and ways to strengthen our work.
  • Build a community of practice composed of learners committed to improving their own work and the field of Jewish education.

This three-part series is offered in partnership with Studio 70 and is designed for teachers in K-6 supplementary programs. While we designed this with congregations in mind, we welcome educators from JCCs, camps, day schools, and other teaching and learning environments. Each session will provide you with skills and materials ready for immediate use in your teaching environment.

All sessions will meet via Zoom on Fridays from 9:30-11:30am PDT:

January 15, 2021
March 19, 2021

June 18, 2021 (please hold as a make up date)
