This Session: Re-Engaging Your Why
In this session, we’ll go back to the “why” behind your Jewish education practice — exploring both the aspirations we have for our learners, and the aspirations they have for themselves. Together we’ll consider how the structure, teachers, curriculum and setting of our program advances those aspirations, and where there may be a mismatch.
- Aimed at: New and veteran directors of part-time Jewish educational programs that teach children K-8.
- Structure: Two-hour virtual session. Zoom link provided upon registration.
- Facilitated by: Lisa Langer.
- Fee: $72 per person.
All trainings at Jewish LearningWorks are subsidized by our generous donors. If you need a cost adjustment to participate, please email Dana Sheanin at dana@jewishlearning.works.
This workshop is part of Spotlight, a six-part series designed to support directors of congregational schools explore the core elements of a powerful part-time Jewish educational program.
If you are a new education director, or a veteran director seeking to be inspired, we hope you’ll join us for one or more sessions this year.
