HBO’s six-part adaptation of Philip Roth’s novel The Plot Against America, last year’s Jewish LearningWorks’ One Bay One Book selection, began airing on Monday, March 16 and will continue weekly until Monday, April 20. Those interested in comparing notes about the series at its half-way point are invited to participate in an informal discussion facilitated by the Jewish Community Library. If you don’t have HBO and wish to watch the show, you can sign up for a month-long HBO subscription through Hulu or Amazon. Sign up if you are interested in joining the conversation, and we’ll send you the link to the Zoom meeting.

Read reviews of the program in the New York Times, Time, and Vanity Fair, and click here for the excellent podcast hosted by Peter Sagal.

A second virtual discussion following the conclusion of the series will take place on Tuesday, April 21.
