Jewish LearningWorks Vaccine & Mask Policy

Updated March 9, 2023

Jewish LearningWorks continues to prioritize the safety and well-being of our staff, consultants, strategic partners, patrons, families and communities this spring.

The imperative to preserve life — pikuach nefesh — is a core value of our tradition. As Jews and community members, we are obligated to do everything we reasonably can to ensure the health and safety of our staff and program participants. We encourage you to let us know if there is anything we can do to support your health during our events.

Respect — kavod — is also an essential Jewish value. Out of respect for others in our community, we ask that staff and participants refrain from attending in-person programs at Jewish LearningWorks if they are feeling unwell, and are not vaccinated against COVID-19.

Since March 2022, our events are mask optional.

Please feel free to visit this page for updated guidance as the COVID-19 pandemic evolves. Our policy will continue to shift in accordance with CDC and California guidelines.
